NXPO, in collaboration with Wish and Wise Company Limited, hosted a training workshop from 12 to 16 February 2024 at Mahatai Pattaya Convention Center in Chonburi. The activity marked the launch of NXPO’s Social Enterprise (SE) Incubator Platform aimed at enhancing the capacities of social enterprises. Five organizations, namely Phop Phra Organic Farm Social Enterprise, Thornnininsee Social Enterprise, Buerk Junt Camping Farm, Autisticthai Social Enterprise, and Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, participated in this workshop to pilot the newly established platform. 

In her opening address, NXPO Vice President Dr. Siriporn Pittayasophon emphasized the importance of SE and highlighted various promotional measures introduced by the SE Promotion Act B.E. 2562 and others.  These measures include access to finance, preferential public procurement, and a platform for capacity building and networking for SE. 

Throughout workshop, participants learned about SE fundamentals, business model development, and finance and funding sources. Towards the end, each participating group formulated the Social Business Model Canvas (SBMC) for their respective enterprises under the guidance of instructors. 

Following this inaugural workshop, participating SEs will implement the SBMC with coaching and consultations provided by the project.
