On 20 August 2025, the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC) organized a seminar titled “Empowering Thai Logistics: Bridging Research to Business” as part of TILOG-LOGISTIX 2025. The event served as a platform to strengthen Thailand’s logistics sector through research and innovation.

The seminar provided entrepreneurs and researchers with insights into the research funding process, along with success stories from businesses that effectively leveraged funding to achieve tangible outcomes. It also created a space for collaboration among researchers, industry, and funding agencies to explore new pathways for advancing Thailand’s logistics sector and shaping its future direction.

Assoc. Prof. Wongkot Wongsapai, Vice President of NXPO, delivered the opening remarks, while Dr. Thammanoon Hengsadeekul, Subcommittee Member of PMUC, presented a special lecture on the “2026–2031 Logistics Research Framework.”



The program also featured a panel discussion bringing together experts from research, funding agencies, and industry, including Prof. Dr. Kanchana Sethanan, Mr. Kongkiti Liwcharoenchai, Assoc. Prof. Wongkot Wongsapai, and Dr. Chalat Wongsangua. The session was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watcharapol Chayaprasert.
The seminar underscored the importance of strong collaboration between government, academia, and the private sector—an essential force in driving Thailand’s logistics industry toward sustainable growth and global competitiveness.
