NXPO and and the Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (OSMEP) launched a training course on the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) model on 31 March 2023 at True Digital Park in Bangkok. The launch was officiated by Mr. Manit Jatujariyapong, OSMEP Director of Promoting SMEs Businesses Department and Dr. Surachai Sathitkunarat, NXPO Vice President. 

This training course is part of OSMEP-NXPO joint initiative to strengthen Thai micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with the BCG model. The course aims to raise awareness in the BCG model and build capacity of MSMEs in all five regions of Thailand. The joint initiative also looks into an establishment of indicators and standards to connect BCG enterprises to finance and government assistance to build a strong business, overcome trade barriers, and achieve sustainable growth.

The BCG training course is designed for MSMEs, business developers and product & service designers to gain an understanding on the BCG model and circular design. The course instructors are drawn from NXPO and CIRCO Hub Thailand. The course will include a circular design workshop – CIRCO Demo: Creating Business Through Circular Design – brought in from the Netherlands to allow participants to learn and practice circular design. 

The BCG training course is offered both on-site and online to participants from all five regions in Thailand. A total of fifteen sessions will be organized from March to August 2023. For registration, please follow this link: https://forms.gle/pqBSespareMKAXDSA.
