NXPO President Dr. Kitipong Promwong recently offered his congratulations to the Royal Thai Police for winning the Best Experience in Community Policing Award with Smart Safety Zone 4.0 project at the World Police Summit held in Dubai, UAE on 14-17 March.  

Smart Safety Zone 4.0 is based on the Safe City Policy Prototype designed by NXPO in collaboration with Thailand Future Foundation with the support of the Royal Thai Police. Design thinking and co-creation approaches were employed in the development of this evidence-based policy to make the policy actually responds to the needs of the people. The Safe City Policy Prototype consists of four domains: Smart Technology for Safe City, Community Engagement, Future of Police Station, and Safety Literacy. Smart Safety Zone 4.0 is currently implemented by 100 police stations.
