NXPO President Dr. Kitipong Promwong recently unveiled the list of certified training courses qualified for corporate tax deduction under Thailand Plus Package. The list consists of 95 courses offered by 12 universities and registered training organizations. Each course is in line with the Future Skills Set of 13 target industries: 1) future mobility, 2) intelligent electronics, 3) high wealth tourism, 4) advanced agriculture & biotechnology, 5) food for the future, 6) robotics, 7) aviation & logistics, 8) bioenergy & biochemicals, 9) digital industry, 10) medical industry, 11) defense industry, 12) circular economy, and 13) workforce development & research. Examples of certified courses are storytelling for brands in the digital age, fintech fundamentals, data analytics, finite element analysis, innovating in payments, and data-driven & email marketing. Thailand Plus Package is a fiscal measure introduced by the Board of Investment to encourage companies to provide training and apprenticeship programs to their employees. The measure includes 250% tax deduction for expenses spent on certified training courses, and 150% tax deduction for expenses spent on hiring employees with advanced STEM knowledge.  www.stemplus.or.th
