On 15 October 2025, NXPO and the APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF) were invited to present at the Hydrogen Energy Seminar, organized by the Hydrogen Thailand Association.
Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Assistant to the President of NXPO, delivered a presentation titled “Green Hydrogen: Technology Foresight Scenario and Policy Impact Assessment.” The presentation is part of a regional cooperation project on science, technology, and clean energy policy in the Asia-Pacific, conducted by the APEC Technology Foresight Center project and endorsed by the APEC’s Policy Partnership on Science, Technology and Innovation (PPSTI).
The project combined economic-energy modeling with foresight tools to develop alternative scenarios and assess the policy impacts of emerging hydrogen trade in the Asia-Pacific region.
Dr. Nuwong’s presentation highlighted the critical role of foresight tools in guiding the future development of hydrogen technologies and evaluating policies that advance Thailand’s and the APEC region’s green economy. The session attracted strong interest from participants across government, industry, and academia.
