The Thailand Higher Education and Innovation Policy Accelerator Division of NXPO, in collaboration with the Faculty of Multidisciplinary Sciences & Entrepreneurship (MuSE) at Thaksin University, successfully organized the “Coaching for Trainers” workshop on 15 May 2025 at Thaksin University’s Phatthalung Campus. This workshop formed part of the “Coaching Skills Development Training Program to Support Social Enterprises”, aimed at developing skilled coaches capable of effectively transferring knowledge and fostering the growth of social enterprises.

Running from March to May 2025, the program equipped participants with both theoretical foundations and practical skills in coaching principles and tools (FAST/GROW/PQC). Participants applied these coaching frameworks through hands-on exercises, developing inception plans for selected organizations or community enterprises. Core topics included: 1) value chain and business life cycle (BLC) analysis, 2) Social Business Model Canvas (SBMC) application, 3) identification of business pain points, and 4) formulation of social entrepreneur development plans. Additionally, each workshop was designed to deepen participants’ understanding of coaching roles and competencies, preparing them to support social entrepreneurs as Trainers, Consultants, and Coaches.

The program concluded with a group presentation session, where participants showcased their inception plans. Group A presented a development plan for the Varni Krajood Handicraft Community Enterprise, focusing on creating new Krajood (grey sedge) products, such as bird toys for the pet market and care cards, alongside a digital marketing strategy targeting international markets. Group B proposed an inception plan for the Khuan Khanun Community Enterprise, aiming to promote a distinctive brooch product line with unique pattern designs, enhance skills through training workshops, and introduce Microsoft Excel for accounting and financial management.

At the program’s conclusion, each participant received a certificate of participation, formally presented by NXPO Vice President Dr. Siriporn Pittayasophon.
