วันที่เผยแพร่ 19 August 2025

On 15 August 2025, NXPO held the closing ceremony of the Carbon Management Technology and Innovation Policy for Executives Course (Cohort 1) at Grande Centre Point Lumpini, Bangkok. Ms. Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), assigned Dr. Surachai Sathitkunarat, President of NXPO, to deliver congratulatory remarks and present certificates to the participants.

Dr. Surachai commended the participants for their successful completion of the program and highlighted that carbon management technology and innovation are strategic priorities for MHESI. He expressed his hope that the knowledge and experience gained through the course would strengthen collaboration across organizations and accelerate the practical implementation of carbon management policies.

“NXPO launched this course for the first time in recognition that achieving carbon neutrality and net-zero emissions requires cooperation from all sectors, as Thailand continues to face significant challenges in this area. Beyond providing essential knowledge on carbon management, the course has also created a platform for sharing visions and experiences, building a strong network of leaders from both the public and private sectors. These leaders will be vital change agents in shaping a sustainable future for Thailand,” said Dr. Surachai.

The program concluded with group presentations on policy implementation strategies for assigned themes:

  • Group 1: Koh Samet: A Low-Carbon Sustainable City Model
  • Group 2: Agriclimate Policy Platform: Integrating Strategy and Innovation for Low-Carbon Agriculture
  • Group 3: Business Matching Program
  • Group 4: Thai Rice for Diversity and Inclusion

The judging panel comprised Dr. Surachai Sathitkunarat, President of NXPO; Dr. Chongrak Thinakul, Specialist in Promotion and Dissemination, Department of Climate Change and Environment; Assoc.
