On 9 August 2025, NXPO, led by President Dr. Surachai Sathitkunarat, joined the opening ceremony of the MHESI Fair 2025: SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND, the National Science and Technology Fair 2025, and the presentation of the Prime Minister’s Science Award 2025. The event was presided over by Ms. Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).
Held under the theme “Creators of Tomorrow,” this year’s MHESI Fair celebrates the role of creators and provides a platform for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and cross-sectoral collaboration to drive Thailand toward a sustainable future. NXPO is contributing to the event by showcasing initiatives designed to develop a workforce that meets the country’s needs.
NXPO’s booth welcomes young people, educators, parents, students, and working professionals to explore their identity, discover their skills, and plan their personal development toward high-demand careers that will strengthen a sustainable nation. Presented under the concept “The Nexploration Valley: Discover Yourself, Define Your Future,” the booth features engaging exhibits with in-depth insights from Thailand Talent Landscape 2025-2029 report, as well as key national policies and mechanisms such as Thailand Job Guarantee, Skill Mapping, and STEMPlus Platform.
To complement the exhibits, NXPO offers interactive activities for visitors to enjoy and explore their potential, including AI Photobooth, Soft Skill Exploration, and Job Journey Playground.
Dr. Surachai highlighted the urgent challenges in Thailand’s workforce development, including rapid technological advances, shifting global economic power toward Southeast Asia, climate and energy transitions, an aging population, educational inequality, and shortages of high-skilled workers in STEM and digital fields. “We need a flexible and accessible lifelong learning system that meets labor market demands. The NXPO booth at MHESI Fair 2025 is designed to inspire visitors to explore careers, develop themselves, and enhance their skills—serving as a space where people can envision their future pathways and chart their career journey,” he added.
The “MHESI Fair 2025” runs from 9–17 August 2025, 09:00–20:00 hrs. (closing at 18:00 hrs. on 17 August) at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Exhibition Hall 1–4, G Floor.
