It served as a platform for experts and policymakers from both countries to exchange perspectives on key areas of collaboration, including economic development, innovation, technology, and sustainable growth. Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of MHESI, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote address titled “Research and Innovation: Driving Force of National Development.” In his remarks, he underscored the pivotal role of research and innovation in achieving sustainable development and enhancing Thailand’s global competitiveness. His message reflected MHESI’s commitment to advancing national development through science, research, and innovation, while deepening strategic partnerships with key partners — notably China. Dr. Wiparat De-ong, Executive Director of NRCT, outlined the forum’s objectives, highlighting its role in fostering dialogue, strengthening networks, and building sustainable cooperation between the two countries.
