The bill received 525 votes in favor, 1 against and 3 abstentions.&nbsp;An Ad-hoc Committee consisting of 49 members&nbsp;has&nbsp;also&nbsp;been&nbsp;established to review the bill.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"577\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image.jpeg\" alt=\"Text\n\nDescription automatically generated\" class=\"wp-image-7111\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-768x433.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Thai Bayh Dole is among the bills aiming at reforming Thai research and innovation system.&nbsp;The bill gives institutions the right to claim title to inventions made with government funding, the power to manage their IPs and the freedom to negotiate licensing terms that would best encourage the commercialization of technology.
