NXPO participated in the workshop on \u201cDigital Transformation Platform and Digital Single View System for Thai Higher Education Institutions,\u201d organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) on 22 October 2025 at Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was officiated by Dr. Punpermsak Aruni, Assistant Permanent Secretary of MHESI, and aimed to introduce the Digital Transformation Platform and Digital Single View System\u2014key mechanisms for integrating MHESI data to support policy formulation and strategic decision-making within Thai higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dr. Thidarat Komolwanich, Director of Manpower Development Strategy and Policy Division at NXPO, joined the panel discussion as a member of the task force responsible for developing and overseeing the systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She highlighted NXPO\u2019s role in formulating and advancing workforce development policies aligned with Thailand\u2019s goal of increasing the proportion of high-skilled workers to 25% by 2027. She also discussed NXPO\u2019s analysis of the high-skilled workforce gap, influenced by the country\u2019s declining birth rate and decreasing undergraduate enrollment trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Thidarat underscored the importance of data integration across multiple sources to enhance policy design and strategic decision-making. In particular, she emphasized the value of the Digital Single View System in providing universities with a unified view of key data\u2014from curricula, academic and research management to outcomes and performance indicators such as university rankings. Such integration, she noted, will strengthen the quality and global competitiveness of Thailand\u2019s higher education sector.<\/p>\n\n\n
