The NXPO delegation, comprising Dr. Siriporn Pittayasophon, Vice President; Dr. Karantarat Nakwa, Assistant to the President; and Ms. Chaiyraweepat Teerapanuchaikul, Policy Developer; participated in the 42nd IASP World Conference on Science Parks and Areas of Innovation. The event, held under the theme \u201cElevating Excellence: Innovation Spaces Driving High-Quality Development\u201d, took place in Beijing, China, from 16\u201319 September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n

Hosted by the Beijing Municipal People’s Government and Zhongguancun Science Park, the conference brought together representatives from more than 30 countries, including Brazil, China, Germany, and T\u00fcrkiye. Senior leaders of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) also took part, including the IASP President, IASP CEO, and the Director-General of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, along with delegates from science parks and innovation hubs worldwide. The event served as a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences in science park and innovation ecosystem development.<\/p>\n\n\n

The program featured keynote lectures and panel discussions on key topics such as building innovation ecosystems, driving economic growth through digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI), developing sustainable and low-carbon innovation spaces, and integrating innovation districts into urban development. Complementary activities included pre-conference training workshops, showcases of research and innovation projects, and site visits to leading science parks and research centers in Beijing\u2014providing participants with opportunities to learn best practices and strengthen global collaboration networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
