Dr. Srichattra Chaivongvilan, NXPO Strategist, represented NXPO and the APEC Technology Foresight Center (APEC CTF) at the 2025 APEC Industry-Academia Collaboration Workshop, hosted by the APEC Institute of Innovation & Education Development on 27\u201328 August 2025 in Taipei. The workshop, themed \u201cLeveraging Digitalization for Talent Inclusion and Empowerment: Facilitating Economic Transitions by Academia-Industry Partnership,\u201d explored strategies for developing interdisciplinary talent to support digital transformation through collaboration between educational institutions and industries, covering both higher education and vocational training. It highlighted case studies of exemplary partnerships promoting inclusive development.<\/p>\n\n\n

At the workshop, Dr. Srichattra presented on \u201cFuture Skills for Innovation in APEC: Thailand\u2019s Approach to a Digital Talent Ecosystem.\u201d Her presentation focused on the skills expected to drive APEC innovation by 2035, introduced foresight tools, and shared NXPO\u2019s policy initiatives designed to tackle the Skills Velocity Crisis\u2014the growing gap between the skills required for emerging jobs and those currently held by the workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n
