At its meeting on 4 March 2025, the NXPO Executive Board, chaired by Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), reviewed and deliberated on the following agenda items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Draft NXPO Executive Board Regulations on Research and Innovation Funding Allocation to Program Management Units <\/strong>\u2013 The regulations emphasize approval authority, aiming to enhance flexibility and efficiency in funding management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. NXPO\u2019s FY 2025 Key Performance indicators and First-Quarter Performance Report <\/strong>\u2013 The board directed NXPO to focus on policy development to drive reforms and advancements in higher education and science. Priorities include policy research, platform creation to support innovation-driven enterprises, and enhancing Thailand\u2019s global ranking in science and technology infrastructure\u2014all contributing to the country\u2019s sustainable development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Appointment of Assistants to the NXPO President<\/strong> \u2013 The board approved the appointments of three Assistants to the NXPO President, effective 1 March 2025, as follows:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    • Dr. Karantarat Nakwa \u2013 Assistant to the President for the Policy Council Secretariat and Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation System.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Dr. Oraphan Wiarachai \u2013 Assistant to the President for Humanpower Strategy in Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation System.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop \u2013 Assistant to the President for Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation Strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
