NXPO will showcase STEMPlus at the Sci Power for Future Thailand Fair to be organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) on 22-28 July 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok. The event aims to bring together all sectors, offering visitors the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences and foster collaborations in various areas, leading to sustainable development for Thailand’s future.<\/p>\n\n\n

Spanning over 23,000 square meters, the exhibition will be divided into six zones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEMPlus will be featured in the SCIENCE for Lifelong Learning zone. It is a platform supporting high-skilled workforce development to meet industry demands, enhancing the competitiveness of Thai industry and aligning with the government\u2019s IGNITE Thailand vision. STEMPlus is designed to cater to the needs of enterprises for a skilled workforce as well as individuals interested in skill and competency development for career opportunities, enabling universities to develop educational programs that equip students with required skills and competencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The STEMPlus exhibition will provide information on tax incentives to attract foreign businesses to relocate their production base to Thailand under the Thailand Plus Package. These incentives include a 150% tax deduction on salaries of STEM talent, and a 250% tax deduction on expenses for employee skill development. Data on workforce production capacity and workforce skillset from the higher education institutions will be presented for enterprises to plan their investments. Information on the Online Job Matching \u2013 a project facilitating job matching for companies – and STEM One-Stop Service (STEM OSS) will also be available.<\/p>\n\n\n

Quick Approval: Applications for training course and STEM employment certification submitted by 25 July 2024 will be processed by 31 July 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
STEMPlus Clinic: Experts will be available to give advice on obtaining training course and STEM employment certification for tax deduction at the booth from 22 to 28 July, 10:00 AM – noon and 2:00 PM \u2013 4:00 PM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Resume Submission: Students can submit their resumes at the booth for employment opportunity in the advanced electronics industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Recruitment: Companies can submit their requests for assistance with STEM talent recruitment at the booth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
