The meeting was attended by representatives of the public and private sectors from the four countries to develop detailed plans for two proposals put forward by Thailand, namely STI Platform for Closed Loop Plastics Packaging and Policy Design and Implementation Support \u2013 Sustainability of Cassava Value Chain.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"786\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/21.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15507\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/21.jpg 786w, https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/21-300x115.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/21-768x293.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 786px) 100vw, 786px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The meeting focused on creating a CLTV agenda-based strategic collaboration to drive public policy to leverage STI capacity for supporting sustainable and inclusive development. The project is in line with Thailand\u2019s BCG model and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"786\" height=\"244\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/22.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15508\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/22.jpg 786w, https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/22-300x93.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nxpo.or.th\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/22-768x238.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 786px) 100vw, 786px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Study visits were organized for participants to gain a better perspective and understanding on the two projects. To learn about waste management and plastic waste recycling, participants were taken to visit the Integrated Solid Waste Management Center in Rayong province and ENVICCO Company Limited, a manufacturer of high-quality recycling plastic resins.
