Torrefied biomass produced from this process is a high-grade solid biofuel. This torrefaction pilot plant has a production capacity of 3 tons\/hr torrefied biomass with a heating value ranging from 4.8 to 5.5 kcal\/kg. Torrefied product can be used to replace coal used in the production of electricity and energy.
